The event is being held at Tighe Hall in the Visitation Parish (E 51st Terr and Main). You can enter Tighe Hall on the North side of the building along E 51st Terr.

Proceeds to benefit the Malawi Children’s Village Latrines project. Student population has dramatically increased, and resources have not kept up. The lack of latrines is resulting in spread of diseases, girls refusing to go to school, and contaminating ground water. Our goal is to provide funding to construct up to 6 latrines, boy’s latrines costing $1,500 each and girls costing $3,000 each, approximately.

GAME RULES
Each player will begin with $3,150.00 in chips. The chips are marked with their value. The initial dealer position willbe determined by a random drawing of a seating card by the tournament host. The opening blinds will be $25-$50 (see blind chart for more information).

Rebuys & Add-ons

•Rebuys - This is a rebuy tournament! For a $25 fee, you may RE-BUY back into the tournament any time prior to the beginning of the $500-$1000 blind round. You may rebuy as many times as you wish, but you must be out of chips to rebuy. For the rebuy, you will receive $4000 in ships. The Rebuy period will end at the conclusion of the $400-$800 Round.

•Addons - There will be 2 Add-on periods. During the $200-$400 round, any player may ADD-ON to his, or her, chip stack. For a $5.00 donation fee, a player will receive $5,000.00 in chips. LIMIT-1. At the end of the $400-$800 round, any player may do an additional Add-on for $10.00. This time they will receive $12,000 in chips. You have the option of purchasing $30,000 in chips for $20, or $45,000 in chips for $30.00. This is a one time offer. If a player has busted out and wishes to re-enter the tournament at his time, he or she, may do so, but they MUST rebuy first $4,000, then to their add-on(s).
Prize Money

1.40% of ticket sales will go to purse.
2.We will pay out 1 place per 10 people entered, up to 9 places.
3.Tournament Champion will walk away with 30-50% of the purse. See Payout Chart
4.Up to a certain round, players will be able to increase the purse value by purchasing Rebuys and Add-ons. 25% of Rebuys will go to the purse, and 75% will go to the beneficiary. 20% of Add-ons will go to the purse, and 80% will go to the beneficiary.
This is a No-Limit tournament. The minimum bet will always be whatever the Big Blind is at the time. If any player wishes to raise, he MUST at least double the bet in front of him. He may raise more, up to whatever he has in chips.

Any disputes will be handled by the Tournament host.

There will be no dead seat button. That means no one will deal two hands in a row, and everyone must post their big blind before they post their small blind. Also, there must be two blinds after the dealer. As tables break down, the host will move players at his discretion. If you need assistance in helping with side pots for all-in action, please call the host. All decisions by the host will be final. Everyone is expected to conduct themselves as ladies and gentlemen. Any behavioral infraction will result in players being asked to leave.
